Gold Trading Bot on Deriv: How DTide Gold Works
DTide Gold trades Gold/USD through supported Deriv CALL and PUT contracts. It reads completed one-minute candles and compares EMA 9 with EMA 21. It is a price-direction strategy: last-digit Even/Odd or Over/Under percentages are not its entry signal.

The Gold strategy: completed candles and EMA agreement
The bot requires sixty continuous completed one-minute candles. Its rule compares the shorter EMA 9 with EMA 21 and checks the closing-price direction. Only a completed candle belongs in that decision; the unfinished candle can still change before the minute ends.
This describes the current rule, not a calibrated probability of winning. A trend-following setup can lose during a reversal, a choppy range or a move that finishes on the wrong side of the contract entry price.
Understand the contract before configuring the bot
A live Gold price does not prove that a CALL or PUT contract is currently offered. The bot checks market availability and contract terms before requesting an order. A closed market, unavailable quote or unsupported duration can correctly prevent an entry.
| Setting | What to check |
|---|---|
| Market | Gold/USD, with the broker symbol frxXAUUSD |
| Contract | A supported CALL or PUT quote; this is not an MT5 CFD order |
| Duration | A broker-supported minute duration offered in the workspace |
| Stake | A fixed amount and a confirmed available balance |
| Account | Demo or real, subject to the broker offering the contract |
Set up a first Gold demo session
Gold keeps one open contract at a time and waits for a fresh completed candle after a loss. Account limits are shared with other bots and tabs; switching specialists does not create a new account risk allowance.
- Choose Gold from the native bot selector.
- Confirm a demo account and select an available duration.
- Review the fixed stake, direction preference and visible session limits.
- Wait for continuous completed-candle data and a supported broker quote.
- Press Run, then monitor the order status and confirmed history.
What happens when a result is delayed?
An accepted order can outlive a browser connection. DTide has background settlement recovery for supported accepted price-bot contracts. Recovery asks the broker for the existing contract result; it does not place a replacement order or close a position.
An expired timer or a floating profit is not enough to record a final result. The broker must identify the same contract, confirm a final status and provide finite final economics. If the broker result is unavailable or account access has expired, the history can remain unresolved until it can be verified.
Evaluate Gold by net return, not a winning screenshot
Keep the market, direction, duration and stake fixed for a documented demo comparison. Record every accepted trade, including losses and delayed settlements. Compare the sum of confirmed profit and loss with the total settled stake.
A few Gold trades cannot establish whether the EMA rule has an edge. Changing several settings after each loss also prevents a fair comparison. Preserve the original setup and evaluate any proposed change on a separate future sample.
Common questions
Does DTide Gold use digit prediction?
No. Its entry rule uses full Gold/USD prices and completed one-minute candles, with EMA 9/21 agreement and a closing-price direction check.
Can I use a real account?
The current bot supports demo and real accounts where the broker offers the selected contract. Review the selected account, quote and session settings before starting.
Does a stronger trend guarantee a winning CALL or PUT?
No. The contract outcome depends on the broker terms and the price path over its duration. An EMA signal does not guarantee a result.
